Claire Stuckey
A qualified children’s librarian Claire developed and presented numerous programs for Gosford Public Library service until 2018 contributing to the development and promotion of all Children’s and YA resources and promotion. In 2008 she initiated the travelling Jeans Genies project that expanded across Australia and was adopted by international sister libraries She commenced a professional relationship with Edogawa City, Japan in 2010 which continues today through both in person and online children’s and adult library programs. Claire has been a member of the Children’s Book Council of Australia since 2000 and is the current President of NSW Central Coast subbranch. As an active member of IBBY Australia’s national executive, Claire promotes the aims of this international organisation. She chairs IBBY Australia’s Ena Noël Award, and the IBBY Outstanding Books on Disabilty List. She has presented papers at international, national and regional literature conferences. An IFLA member Claire continues to promote high quality library services through the Libraries for Children and Young Adult Section including as a Coordinator of The World Through Picture Books Programme 3rd edition.

The World Through Picture Books
The World Through Picture Books 3rd edition is a huge digital catalogue of quality picture book titles from 57 countries with links to publishers, other relevant organisations, and WorldCat record links for easy access to other formats and editions. The 3rd edition online catalogue allows librarians everywhere to identify and access quality titles for their own collections. The books provide new connections for children and families through literature, culture, and language. In this keynote, Claire will talk about how the idea for WTPB came to be, how the list is developed, and future directions for this amazing resource.
