Max Hamilton is a CBCA and Whitley award-winning illustrator, a graphic designer and most enthusiastically a maker of children’s books.She enjoys noticing the little details in things and loves to get lost in the world of illustration and stories. Max lives with her family and their cuddly dog in Sydney, Australia.

The Impact of Libraries on Children's Book Creators
In her session Max will speak about her love of school libraries and children’s books and how this love has influenced her career choice as a children’s book illustrator. Max will also share her processes and techniques for illustrating a children’s book and show behind the scenes imagery for several of her latest releases - "The Beehive" by Megan Daley and "Our Home” by Catherine Meatheringham.
